How Long Have Your Been Shooting?
I have been messing around with photography since high school, but have been doing it professionally since May 2020. I have 1.5 years of experience & counting.
Do You Travel?
I am based in Northern Colorado, but I am all about exploring! I will travel up to 1 hour for a portrait session. That typically includes Southern WY (Cheyenne area) and Northern Colorado. If the location you are hoping for is outside of this zone an additional travel fee can be added to the session!
How Does Payment Work?
All Payments are made online through Honeybook, no need to worry about writing checks the day of! For weddings I require a non-refundable retainer and contract signed to hold your date. Your final payment is due 1 month before your wedding date. Final payment of small sessions are due 1 day after the session takes place.
Where are you based out of?
I am based out of Northern Colorado where I have been born and raised! But I LOVE to travel and try to hop on a plane to explore now places as much as possible!
What is included in your Wedding Packages?
My base package includes: 8 hours of coverage, 2 shooters, a complimentary hour engagement session, an online gallery for you to share with friends and family, and any pre wedding photography planning. If you would like more or less their are options to customize your wedding day coverage!
What Is Your Turnaround Time?
Most portrait sessions will be back to you in 2-3 weeks or less. For weddings, your online gallery will be back to you in 4-8 weeks or less!
Do You Give Out RAW (Unedited) Images
No, and I will not. I believe a large part of choosing a photographer is choosing one who’s style meshes best with your own. Editing is a HUGE part of my creative process and I promise, a gorgeous final product.
What Happens If the Weather doesn’t cooperate?
Sometimes we may get rained or snowed out (downpours/blizzards) for small shoots if that is the case I will allow one reschedule. If it is your wedding day WE EMBRACE IT. We can work with the wind, rain, snow! That day is a day to embrace whatever gets thrown your way!
Can you photoshop us?
No. I strongly believe in body positivity and self love, and want to capture your most authentic self in whatever phase of life you are in! When it comes to touch ups’s I never edit anything unless it is temporary (2-3 weeks) such as acne or bruises.
What If we need to Cancel?
For portrait sessions and weddings the first payment is non-refundable for the date you book with me. If you need to rebook you are more than welcome to rebook on the desired date with a new retainer paid. I do this because I most likely have turned down other work/sessions/opportunities for this date to book yours.
Do You help with the planning Process?
YES! My type-A heart LOVES planning. I help guide you through locations, outfit ideas, timeline suggestions, and vendors! I create a custom timeline so we can ensure enough time for all the photos on your “must have” list!
What Do We Wear For Photos?
Don’t Worry! after we book, I send over an email with a few details to consider as well as a Pinterest page I have curated, FILLED with outfit inspo for our shoot together!
How do Travel Expenses work?
Travel Expenses are calculated and are due at the time of your second payment (1 month prior to your wedding). I will send over an additional invoice for travel specific charges. If anything comes up that is not added into that payment I will add a 3rd payment, that is due after your wedding (this is very rare).
Do you offer discounts or Freebies?
I do offer discounts, If someone you referred to me books a session, you then get a 10% discount on your next time you book with me.
How many Images do we get?
It tends to vary, but I guarantee about 70 images per hour.
Can anyone else take photos while you’re taking photos?
For weddings, I’d absolutely love if you looked into having an “unplugged” ceremony. I totally get that Uncle Bob has a nice camera and loves to take pictures at every event, however If I am worrying about someone shooting behind me or over my shoulder I won’t be giving you my full attention. Once the Reception hits phone pictures are encouraged, I just require (in my contract) that their is no other paid photographer at the event I am capturing!
